Here's my miracle story about my desire outrunning my doubts...

Almost 9 years ago I met the love of my life. I knew it immediately!

It was one of those movie-worthy meetings that swept me into lala land before I knew what was happening.

But there was a twist - he was leaving the country and we only had a few short months together.

But we fell in love and I went to visit and we did the long distance thing but eventually it wasn't sustainable and he eventually ended it.

I was devastated.

I was surviving the pain by leaning heavily on my spiritual practices and diving into my work as a teacher and coach.

And because of how much I was hurting, I realize looking back that I was forced to deepen my practices and become more devoted to who I really was.

I grew SO much because of this breakup. And I saw myself in such a different light.

I never felt more powerful than when I faced that pain head on.

So fast forward to 2020, 6 years after he had left...

I had a baby boy under 1 and my relationship with his father was on the rocks.

We had communicated sporadically over the years but nothing to write home about. 🙃

But I'll tell you something not many people have heard me say before:

I never gave up on him.

He was the one always in the back of my mind, the one that got away...

The one I measured everything against.

But the odds were against us.

First of all, he had no intentions of coming back and especially not to start a life with a new mom!

Part of my spiritual manifesting practice during those years was centred around releasing doubt and guilt by way of a very specific subconscious reprogramming technique along with prayer.

Yes prayer.

This is something I don't talk about a ton, but it's a GAME CHANGER.

Long story short -

Through a very synchronistic series of events, my long lost love was called back home by a work opportunity, we started talking, and on Christmas Day he came to keep me company when I was home alone with my son (this was after my relationship with my sons father had ended btw)

And he never left.

We've built a beautiful life together and to date, it's the biggest miracle I've ever witnessed.

Every once in a while he will ask "how did you get me to cross the ocean for you?"

This is the power of disabling doubt-based belief systems and amplifying DESIRE.
